Cookie & Local Storage Notice

What Stellar AI stores or accesses in your browser, why it is needed, how first-party metrics work and what choices you have.

1. What this notice covers

This notice covers cookies and similar browser or device storage technologies used by trystellarai.com, including localStorage, sessionStorage, service-worker caches and other storage used to operate the web app.

2. Current approach

Stellar AI does not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioural advertising trackers. The app does use first-party browser storage where needed to provide requested functionality such as sign-in continuity, guest chats, settings, model or interface preferences, pending checkout choices, voice preferences and installed/PWA behaviour.

If Stellar later introduces non-essential cookies or storage that requires consent, we will provide an appropriate consent choice before using it where the law requires.

3. Necessary app storage

  • Session and account continuity: keeps a signed-in session available on the device.
  • Guest chat and preferences: keeps local chat state, display choices and app settings that you ask the browser to remember.
  • Checkout intent: can temporarily remember the plan or credit pack you selected so the app can resume after sign-in.
  • Voice and accessibility preferences: remembers user-controlled voice and UI settings where enabled.
  • PWA or service-worker cache: may store public app files locally so installed or returning sessions load reliably.

Blocking or deleting necessary storage can sign you out, remove guest chats or reset preferences.

4. First-party product metrics

Stellar sends coarse first-party events such as opening the landing page or app, opening checkout, successful sign-in, support clicks and technical error signals to Stellar's own endpoints so we can understand whether the service is working and improve it. The application-level metric payload is designed not to contain prompt text, chat contents, names, email addresses, phone numbers or payment-card details. These metrics are not used for advertising or cross-site profiling. Hosting and network providers may still process ordinary connection or security logs as described in the Privacy Policy.

Your analytics choice: you can object to Stellar's first-party product metrics at any time. This does not disable storage that is necessary for sign-in, security, billing or a feature you explicitly request.

5. Third-party services

Stripe, sign-in providers, AI providers, hosting providers or connected plugins may use their own cookies or storage when you deliberately open or connect those services. Their notices and settings apply on their domains. Stellar does not use a third party's policy to avoid its own disclosure obligations.

6. Your controls

You can clear or block browser storage through your browser settings. Private or incognito browsing may reduce persistence. Clearing storage can remove guest chats, sign-in state and preferences. If a consent control is shown for future non-essential technologies, you can use that control to change your choice.
