Acceptable Use & AI Safety Policy
Rules for using Stellar AI, StellarX, plugins, connected computers and generated content safely and lawfully.
Last updated: 26 September 20261. Use Stellar lawfully
Do not use Stellar AI to commit, facilitate or conceal illegal activity, violate another person's rights, or access systems, accounts, files or data without authorisation.
2. Security and abuse
Do not attempt to hack, overload, scrape, disrupt, reverse-engineer or bypass Stellar's authentication, billing, safety controls, credit accounting, usage controls or rate limits. Do not use the service to steal credentials, session cookies, private keys, recovery codes or payment data.
3. Malware and harmful code
Do not use Stellar to create or deploy malware, credential theft, ransomware, destructive payloads or code intended to damage another person's devices, services, servers or data. Legitimate defensive, debugging and authorised development work must remain within systems you own or are authorised to test.
4. StellarX and connected computers
Only connect computers, repositories, stores, accounts, files or other systems you own or are authorised to control. Review plans and permissions before approving changes. Keep backups of important data. Higher-impact or destructive actions may be blocked or require approval.
5. Plugins and third-party accounts
Connecting a plugin gives Stellar only the permissions exposed by that connection and the feature you choose to use. You remain responsible for having authority to use the connected account and for reviewing actions before approval. Third-party service terms continue to apply.
6. AI output is not guaranteed
AI can be inaccurate, incomplete or produce code that does not work. Review, test and verify outputs before relying on them. Do not use Stellar as the sole decision-maker where an error could affect health, legal rights, finances, safety, employment, safeguarding or another high-impact area.
7. No impersonation or misleading claims
Do not use Stellar to impersonate real people deceptively, falsify reviews, fabricate evidence, misrepresent business results or make claims that are unlawful or misleading. Business automation should use verified information and clear escalation routes.
8. Fair access
A credit balance does not create a right to unlimited concurrency or to bypass technical, safety, fraud-prevention or provider limits. Automated traffic that degrades service for others may be restricted.
9. Enforcement
We may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, third parties or comply with law. Where appropriate, we may preserve relevant security records and cooperate with lawful requests.
10. Related terms
This policy forms part of the Terms of Service. It should also be read with the Privacy Policy and, for PC or plugin use, the connected-tool sections of the Terms.
